About the opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Viatek’s Newcastle-based finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing payment runs, applying appropriate matching principles, and managing reconciliations and creditor accounts as required.

As part of a close-knit team, effective collaboration and strong interpersonal skills are key to success in this position!

About you

This role is integral to Viatek’s finance operations, therefore a minimum of 12 months of experience in accounts payable is essential, along with a willingness to learn and be mentored. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A proactive and highly motivated attitude with the confidence to ask questions

  • A professional, positive approach and a commitment to contributing to team success and company culture

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt and reprioritise tasks as needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • A strong customer service focus

  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the MS Office suite, including Excel
