About the Opportunity
The Asset and Procurement Manager is a newly created role focused on leading and managing the effective supply and ongoing maintenance of company assets. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will oversee a skilled team, drive cost efficiencies through strategic supplier negotiations, and champion continuous improvement initiatives in asset management practices. This role is ideal for a proven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about enhancing operational performance.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Asset and Procurement team, including performance and career development

  • Oversee supplier negotiations and manage agreements to optimise costs

  • Manage fleet operations, including utilisation and maintenance

  • Implement and monitor asset management and maintenance strategies

  • Maintain accurate inventory control and stock availability

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across asset and procurement practices 

About You

  • Diploma of Procurement and Contracting or equivalent industry experience

  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in asset management and procurement, ideally in heavy industry, construction, or facilities management

  • Proven strength in supplier negotiations, commercial acumen, and contract management

  • Skilled in leading teams and driving workplace improvement initiatives

  • Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement abilities

  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite
