About the Role
The Overhauls Planner and Coordinator will oversee the scheduling, planning, and coordination of overhaul projects, ensuring the timely delivery of repairs and overhauls while managing parts procurement. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards, while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate overhauls and repairs on the workshop floor
Plan and schedule projects, optimising timelines and resources
Order, track, and ensure timely arrival of parts, coordinating internal functions
Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project flow
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed
Maintain accurate documentation, project reports, and customer communication
Lead teams, ensuring safety and compliance with WHS standards
Drive continuous improvement by identifying and resolving issues proactively

About You
Strong knowledge of Longwall equipment and overhaul processes (preferred)
Experience in planning, scheduling, and coordination within the mining or heavy industrial sector
Proficient in project management tools, MS Project and ERP systems
Excellent organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach
