Are you a dynamic finance professional ready to step into a pivotal leadership role? This is not just a job – it’s a lifestyle opportunity you won’t find anywhere else! We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager to report directly to the General Manager, lead a team of three, and oversee the financial performance of four on-site entities.
As the Finance Manager, you’ll take ownership of the on-site finance function and provide timely delivery of financial reports, compliance, and operational support. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, including:
Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reports
Leading and supervising an on-site team, including Administration Manager (payroll/AR) and AP Officer
Cashflow management, short and medium-term forecasting, and budget variance analysis
Providing financial and analytical insights to the General Manager, and operational stakeholders
Managing month-end processes, account reconciliations, and consolidated entity reports
Overseeing tax compliance, including BAS, payroll tax, and liaising with external tax agents
Supporting CAPEX projects with budgets, reporting, and accountability
Asset management – oversee fixed assets and real estate accounting
Developing and improving finance policies and procedures to enhance performance
Assisting with audits, treasury management, and integration with Group Family Office functions
About You
To excel in this role, you will be:
CA/CPA Qualified with a strong finance and commercial background
A proven leader with 5+ years of experience in professional services and commercial finance
Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiar with Xero (experience with livestock accounting is a plus!)
A multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment and manages time effectively
An excellent communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels
