Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for preparing monthly financial accounts and reports for senior management and the board, along with providing detailed financial analysis, forecasts, and budgeting specific to service delivery and project costing. You will manage the financial aspects of service projects, ensuring accurate cost allocations and reporting. You will also play a key role in tender applications by assisting with cost analysis, project pricing, and developing financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
In addition, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions such as general ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries, while ensuring compliance with BAS preparation and accounting standards. The role involves managing financial aspects of stock levels for service components, supporting lifecycle cost management for projects, and ensuring accurate tracking for repairs and maintenance.
Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Pronto ERP is essential
Expertise in project-based costing, financial analysis, and budgeting
Strong knowledge of Excel and accounting software
CPA/CA qualification or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in a service-based business
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
