We are excited to partner with an organisation that has a global reach to recruit 3 full-time Flights Specialists to join their Newcastle-based Flights team.

About the opportunity
As a Flights Specialist, you will provide expert knowledge on airfare and flight booking procedures. By delivering top-tier customer service and driving sales, you will support the reservations team in ensuring guests and agents receive the highest level of service for all flight-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer expert advice and support to the reservations team on flight packages and utilise your advanced product knowledge to assist with sales and bookings to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Manage flight reservations through Sabre and web-based airline systems, ensuring accurate ticketing, revalidation, and processing of BSP refunds.
Educate team members and travel agents on flight booking procedures, including schedule changes and ticketing.
Administer group allocations, issue group tickets, and oversee flight management for staff, agents and marketing promotions.
Ensure timely updates to flight systems, compliance with the Scenic Group policies, and efficient execution of all air ticketing procedures.
About you
We're seeking Flights Specialists who are passionate about luxury travel and dedicated to delivering seamless, high-quality experiences for both guests and crew. Ideally, you have a background in the travel industry and thrive on thinking creatively to solve problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. For these three positions, we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your career, we'd love to hear from you.
Strong knowledge of airfares, airline ticketing systems (Sabre preferred) and IATA BSP Procedures.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and multitasking.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse clientele.
Proficient in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting booking errors.
Ability to conduct training sessions for team members and agents.
