About the Opportunity
HMRI is looking for a Fundraising Support Officer to join the Direct Marketing team within the Research Partnerships group. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for donor and supporter inquiries, ensuring an exceptional supporter experience. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to maintain accurate records will be instrumental in helping HMRI achieve its fundraising goals.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Provide donation and payment processing support for fundraising campaigns and events
Communicate with donors and supporters to manage inquiries and follow-up on contributions
Supervise volunteers assisting with office-based fundraising activities
Maintain database accuracy, ensuring donor records are up to date in the CRM
Support financial processing, including receipting, banking, and record-keeping
Assist with general administration for the Partnerships & Development team
About you
You will bring
Experience in administration and data entry, with a strong focus on data accuracy
Proficiency in fundraising platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
