About the Role
This newly created Human Resources Generalist position plays a pivotal role in supporting and facilitating day-to-day HR processes. Reporting to the Director of Operations locally and the Head of HR in the US, this role provides administrative support to the HR function, ensuring compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulations while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Managing end-to-end recruitment, including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, reference checks, and tracking applicants in the HRIS, as well as liaising with external recruiters where needed.
Supporting new employee onboarding, including orientation and inductions.
Identifying and developing training needs.
Providing guidance on employee matters, including non-performance and exit processes, with risk mitigation in mind.
Reviewing and implementing wellbeing initiatives as part of the EVP.
Contributing to the Employee Engagement Committee by helping to coordinate events/activities and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
About You
To excel in this role, you will ideally have:
A minimum Certificate IV in Human Resource Management.
At least three years of experience in an HR role.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using HR software and HRIS databases (preferred).
Your approachable and personable communication style, along with your proactive and solution-focused mindset, will see you succeed in this role and contribute positively to the organisation’s culture.
