These management level positions are supported by small teams of HR professionals, balancing both day-to-day operational HR functions and strategic workforce initiatives. One sits within an essential infrastructure and logistics sector, while the other is within a premium customer experience and lifestyle services industry known for innovation and high standards. Both require agility, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to workforce management.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing HR support to leadership teams.
Performance management and employee relations.
Onboarding, recruitment, and general HR functions.
Managing union relations, awards, and enterprise agreements.
Ensuring compliance with HR policies and workplace legislation.
Supporting workforce engagement and culture initiatives.
The ideal candidate profile is:
Proven experience in HR management of teams 100-250 people.
Strong expertise in performance management, onboarding, and ER/IR.
Hands-on approach, comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels.
Experience working with unions, enterprise agreements, and award interpretation.
Ability to engage effectively with both senior leadership and frontline employees.
Comfortable in adapting to fast paced environments.
