About the opportunity
The person who is successful in getting this role gets to work with an amazing team every day building positive, warm relationships and putting your own handprint on the great organisational culture.
When it comes to HR, this role will give you a taste of everything, including:
Partnering with business leaders in relation to all areas of HR including performance management, recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits, engagement and retention
Contributing towards the collaborative organisational culture by developing and implementing engagement programs and initiatives and actively role modelling our values. To do this, it’s not just about sitting behind a desk, it’s about proactively engaging with the team in their work environment
Managing workers compensation claims and return to work
Coordinating employment contracts
Coordination of the employee recognition program
Maintaining the HRIS
About you
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering memorable experiences for the team and customers. You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR position
The ability to take off the “corporate hat” and be agile in an industry that is continually evolving. For The Westport Club there is no manual or procedure that tells them how to do their job, they only have a guide to help the team be successful, the rest is up to you
Previous experience working with HR/Roster/Payroll systems
The ability to build trust, credibility and confidence of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
