About the opportunity
Compass Pools is seeking a dedicated Inventory Administrator to join their Tomago-based team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining sufficient stock levels to support 60+ dealers across Australia & New Zealand.
Your responsibilities will include inventory management, proactive ordering, processing orders and dispatch of equipment, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure stock levels meet business needs. Strong administration skills are required and your experience with inventory systems, proactive planning, and excellent stakeholder communication skills will be essential for success. This role offers autonomy and the chance to grow within a committed and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively manage stock levels for all components through the Fishbowl inventory management system.
Place stock orders and manage delivery timeframes with our international supplier.
Identify and implement process improvements for consistent and accurate inventory management.
Address inventory issues, troubleshoot problems, and manage stocktakes.
Conduct inventory forecasting and proactive order preparation.
Build relationships with dealers to understand their stock needs and respond promptly to orders.
Handle daily administrative duties, including managing orders & dispatch of equipment, emails and data entry.
Support other administrative functions during busy periods or staff absences.
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience using inventory management software, with experience in the Fishbowl Inventory system being desirable but not required.
Proficiency in all MS Office Programs, intermediate Excel skills.
Proactive and responsive working style.
Adaptability, self-motivated and an eagerness to learn.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong multitasking and workload prioritisation abilities.
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
