About the opportunity and you!

This is a newly created position and is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic professional with 2-3 years’ experience, keen to take the next step in their career. Reporting to the Senior Manager People and Culture, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting HR functions across the business.

This hands-on role will see you working across diverse HR areas including employee relations, organisational development, recruitment initiatives and workplace health and safety. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring contemporary HR practices are implemented to drive organisational success, supporting the Asia-Pacific region.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Providing guidance on employment legislation and support employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes.

  • Preparing and managing employee documentation, including contracts, letters, and performance-related correspondence.

  • Assisting with onboarding, recruitment initiatives and induction processes.

  • Supporting organisational development initiatives, such as training, employee engagement, and diversity programs.

  • Implementing and promoting contemporary HR practices that align with organisational goals and foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Performing essential HR administrative duties including maintaining accurate employee records, generating reports, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Supporting your leader in managing workplace health and safety, including updating policies and assisting with workers’ compensation matters.

To be considered for this exciting position we are seeking interest from candidates with:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a relevant discipline.

  • Approximately 2–3 years’ experience in contemporary HR practices.

  • Demonstratable communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.

  • Confidence in adopting key workplace legislation.

  • A passion for partnering with stakeholders across an organisation to provide practical HR advice.
