We are recruiting for permanent full-time Reservations Specialists to join our Newcastle-based Reservations Centre, commencing 31 January 2025.
This organisation has a rich history based in Newcastle and continues to grow its team in a modern, state-of-the-art office space located in the heart of the city.
About the opportunity
As a Reservations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing inbound phone and email inquiries, and ensuring that every guest’s needs are met with professionalism and care. The guest experience starts well before the journey begins, and you’ll play a vital role in that.
Key responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound calls to book passengers on cruises and land journeys, answer inquiries, and provide detailed product and itinerary information.
Process reservations with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that all customer details and preferences are recorded and addressed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s product portfolio, promotions, and policies.
About you
You’re passionate about travel and committed to creating exceptional guest experiences.
Previous experience in customer service is essential, with experience in the travel or luxury travel industry highly desirable.
You are an inquisitive problem solver who asks the right questions to understand guests’ needs and make recommendations to delight them.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, and the ability to engage with a diverse clientele is a must.
